Riding high expectations and a fantastic finish to the end of the season, the boys team went into Sectionals ready to do business. Here’s what resulted:
Jay keen – 24th in the shot put with a 33’2″.
Ethan Gruet – 24th in the 200 with a 25.5
Zachary Rupright – 23rd in the discus with a 100’8″.
Luis Bueno – 22nd in the 800 with a 2:13
Cameron Fultz – 19th in the discus with a 111’1″.
Omar Corona – 17th in the 3200 with a 11:29.
Cameron Fultz – 16th in the shopt put with a 39’6″.
Joseph Ndaiga – 13th in the 200 with a 24.1
Carlos Corona – 12th in the 3200 with a 10:35.
Donny Hilty – 11th in the 100 with a 12.02
Anthony Maxwell – 10th in the 800 with a 2:06.
The following athletes qualified for regionals!
Charlie Maxwell – 4th in the long jump with a leap of 21’2″.
– 4th in the 300 hurdles with a time of 40.72, a new school record!
The 4×100 team of Charlie Maxwell, Joseph Ndaiga, Donny Hilty, and Desmond Wilkins, who ran a 44.1, setting a new school record, and having the highest finish of any relay in ECA history at sectionals!
Desmond Wilkins – 2nd in the 100 with a time of 11.57
– 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 21’11”.
Congratulations guys! Regionals are at Kokomo next Thursday night!
