Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles Varsity took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Bethany Christian. The game was tied at five with Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when Chance Biddle singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Bethany Christian scored four runs in the first inning, but Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Bethany Christian came thanks to a walk by Shane Shank, a single by Willams, and an error on a ball put in play by Farran.
In the first inning, Bethany Christian got their offense started when Willams singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
