Lady Eagles Move Past Granger Christian

The ECA Lady Eagles defeated Granger Christian, Saturday, 49-42. Alyssa Buckles led the Eagles with 19 points and 7 rebounds; while, Mary Reddy chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Brooke Yoder also contributed with 11 points and 2 assists.

Casaletto and Morehead honored at the State Level

Senior, Kayla Casaletto and Sophomore, Maddie Morehead have been named to First Team All-State, the highest honor awarded by the IATCCC. The IATCCC  takes  statistics from the Cross Country season and then chooses a First Team All-State and then Honorable Mentions as well. Kayla and Maddie are the first runners from ECA to be honored. Eagles Victorious in Home Opener

The Elkhart Christian Varsity boys beat Prairie Heights in their home opener, Tuesday night when they took on Prairie Heights. The boys came away with a 60-49 victory with the help of Drew Overmyer, who scored 34 points. The Eagles grabbed the lead against Prairie Heights on a free throw from Travis Atkinson in the second period and never looked back. Lady Eagles Win First Game of the Season

The Lady Eagle Basketball Team defeated the visiting cougars of South Bend Career Academy, Thursday, November 13th 64-13. Alyssa Buckles led the team with 20 points (a career high) and 12 rebounds. Senior, Hannah Stayton returned to the court after a year hiatus and added 15 points and 8 rebounds to help lead the team.

Season Comes to an End for ECA Volleyball

The Lady Eagle season came to an end on Saturday, when the host school Blackhawk Christian defeated ECA 3-0. The Eagles showed their determination during the 2nd set when they pushed the Braves to a 25-23 final. The loss leaves the Eagles with a 14-14 record for the season – vast improvement from the season

Casaletto advances to State

Kayla Casaletto left no doubt on Saturday, as she sprinted her way into the State Finals. She finished the Semi-State race in New Haven with a time of 19:03 – placing 10th overall. Kayla will now race at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, in Terre Haute, at 1pm on November 1.

Girls Volleyball Advances to Sectional Semi-Final

In IHSAA volleyball Sectional action last night, Elkhart Christian defeated Hamilton in a 4 set match. The win sends ECA on to the Sectional Semi-Final against host Blackhawk Christian.
